Danuta Błażejczyk
Danuta Błażejczyk during her 20 years on the stage has gained fame and appreciation of the audience and musical critics. She is respected for her original songs and for her specific hoarse and strong voice.
Danuta Błażejczyk has worked together with Maryla Rodowicz, with the Budka Suflera band, has also worked together with many musicians and jazz bands: Big Warsaw Band, Alex Band, Zbigniew Górny Orchestra. Has participated in 3 polish musicals: “Ain’t Misbehavin”, “Nunsense” and “FAME” (”Fama”) – “FAME’s” premiere was on the 18th of October ‘97 at the Powszechny Theatre in Radom and on the 28th of November ‘97 at the Komedia Theatre.
Danuta Błażejczyk gives many concerts, it’s possible to hear her songs on tv and on the radio. During her concerts Danuta demontrates an exeptional contact with the audience.
On her CDs we can find some light music and also various jazz songs, among her CDs there are titles like “Tak trochę o miłości” (“Something about love”) - 1996 KOCH International, “Co w sercu gra” (“What happens in the heart”) - 2002, Universal Music Polska, “Tak to ja” (“Yes, it’s me”) - 2003 Carla Production, PTK Centertel, “Summertime” with songs of G. Gershwin (2005, MTJ), “Dla Ciebie jestem sobą” (“For you I am as I am”) - 2006, MTJ. Danuta Błażejczyk is also producer of her own songs and musical editions. She gives many concerts, is also interested in pedagogical activity. She works for “Apetyt na kulturę” Foundation, she’s a president of this Foundation which supports young talented people.

1994 – première of musical "Nunsense" with music of Dan Goggin at the theatre "Teatr na Woli" in Warsaw / part of a nun Hubert /
