Pjotr Kaluzny
A pianist, a composer, an arranger and a conductor. A lecturer at The Music Academy in Wrocław and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. An author of articles on music as well as music entries for Britanica Encyclopedia. An author of jazz, pop and orchestra compositions and an arranger of numerous songs of various music styles. He conducts a number of music workshops. He has been a musician in a number of jazz orchestras and blues and fusion bands. He has been composing music for theater performances and cartoon films and has been participating in numerous recording sessions.
He is particularly interested in exploring the notions of harmony and expression in music. Among others, he has been co-operated with such musicians as Henryk Miśkiewicz, Michał Urbaniak, Zbigniew Namysłowski, Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski, Adam Wedt, Janusz Muniak, Jerzy Milian, Jan Cichy, Wojciech Kowalowski, Piotr Biskupski, Brandon Furman and Mariusz Bogdanowicz. He has been accompanying many pop and jazz performers, such as Nathaly Cole.
